TESTIMONIALS
Bisola is very good at teaching and explaining the intricacies of complex academic writing skills. Although, I worked with her just a few times for review and editing of my university’s papers, I very much enjoyed her tutoring workshop. I am pleased with everything. We engaged in stimulating discussions on writing styles, arguments, subject-verb complement, clarity, organization of ideas, and supporting details. She shared brilliant thought that inspired very interesting input into my written content. Bisola’s support helped me to target my blind spots in writing cogent academic papers. Her writing tutoring is a blessing because it is well organized and presented in a way that helps me navigate new knowledge more effectively and efficiently.

Bisola was my writing tutor and advisor while I was a graduate student for over three years. With a diverse teaching background and in-depth knowledge of the American Psychological Association (APA) writing style, Bisola taught me excellent research skills. I learned how to differentiate between basic versus applied research and experimental design. I also learned how to brainstorm passionate research ideas, create an outline for writing research, correct sentence and paragraph structure and utilize the right citations and references. She also taught me how to create a literature review.
Bisola always made time and spent extra hours with me if needed. Her positive encouragement and personalized teaching was helpful, particularly when I felt overwhelmed and anxious with school work. Bisola genuinely cares for her students and wants them to succeed. I highly recommend Bisola's support with any type of writing (i.e. research, argumentative essays, play/movie scripts, etc.).

I am incredibly thankful for the mentorship of Bisola Marignay. Her presence, her advice, and her encouragement were instrumental in keeping me motivated to graduate from my program- I had to face stigma and prejudice in my program, and this led to apathy and not wanting to continue. Ms. Marignay not only pushed me to finish with my best effort, she helped me write with clarity when I just had too much going on.
